Josh was born in 1971 on the North Side of Minneapolis in a working class neighborhood blocks from the Sumner-Glenwood Public Housing Projects. He and his mother moved to South Minneapolis in 1976 where he still lives with his wife, Molly, and their son, Mason in the same house he grew up in on Pleasant Avenue. For the past decade Josh has been fighting for workers to have a voice on the job and a chance to build a better life for their families through his tireless work as a Union Representative with The Hotel and Restaurant Union and in his current position with The Minnesota Laborers Union.
