My story is a quintessential Minneapolis story. A product of The Minneapolis public school system andabeneficiary of the city’s parks and after school programs I’ve never stopped feeling the need to give back to the community that has given me so much. The son of a single working mother in a strong Union household I learned early on the importance of standing up for what’s right, no matter how powerful the opposition. I strongly believe in tackling challenges, not studying them, and have been an outspoken advocate for action and change on issues that are important to the people of my community throughout my time living here.
